A: Nature is the general revelation, the physical creation, which declares (non-verbally) to everyone the glory of God.

B: Scripture is the special revelation, which declares in verbal form the will of God for mankind, the source of meaning and purpose and hope.

-B: Naturalism: all knowledge must come from nature alone. Loss of meaning, significance. Scientism, reductionism, positivism.

-A: "Bibliolatry": all knowledge must be derived from scripture alone. Loss of objectivity of knowledge and common ground; dogmatism, fideism.
