There are two options here:
a) The human nature is real and the divine nature is not. This is the
teaching of many who assume that Jesus was merely a prophet, a man among men (an
early teaching of some of the Jews and Roman authors).
b) The divine nature
is real and the human nature is not (a teaching of the Apollinarians).
