-B: Christ's Two Natures: Exaggeration of Unity - rejection of Diversity

Apollinarius, drawing upon the lengthy gnostic Greek tradition, taught that Christ was divine, but his body only appeared to be human.  The physical nature was an illusion. 

This emphasis on the non-material nature of Being traces back to Plato in the West and many teachings in the East.  Although it is very ancient, it is often proclaimed as something new, thus misleading many religiously naive people.
